Swiss Cheese Plant (Monstera adansonii) in a pastel ceramic Modera pot with pastel stones
Swiss Cheese Plant (Monstera adansonii). Propagated and pre-potted houseplants are perfect for new plant parents, individuals who consider themselves as having "brown thumbs" (the “I kill every plant” person), and anyone who prefers not to wait endlessly for their plant cuttings to grow.
How it works:
- You will receive a successful starter plant, a thoughtfully selected pot crafted from all-natural materials.
- You will have the option to select from healing quartz crystals, pebbles or stones, or just plain soil on top of your plant (see below for descriptions). Your plant will also come with a wooden stick to measure soil wetness and dryness as well as an eco friendly plantable seed TPP card.
- You will have the option to pick up from my home (in the enclosed "Prop Pot Greenhouse" in the driveway) or have local delivery (within 18 miles of Yarmouth, ME). Voilà!
Plant Care
-
Sunlight: Place in a location with bright, indirect light, and avoid direct sunlight.
-
Temperature: Keep the plant in a warm, consistent room temperature between 18°C and 24°C (65°F and 75°F).
-
Watering: Water the plant weekly, or when the top layer of soil feels dry. Allow the soil to drain completely, and check for signs of overwatering, such as root rot.
-
Humidity: Mist the leaves occasionally to keep them free of dust, and use a humidifier to maintain higher humidity levels.
-
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a peat-based mix, or modify a traditional houseplant potting mix with extra peat or perlite. The plant prefers slightly acidic soil.
