Monstera Deliciosa in a ceramic black universe pot with black stones and amethyst
Swiss Cheese Plant (Monstera adansonii). Propagated and pre-potted houseplants are perfect for new plant parents, individuals who consider themselves as having "brown thumbs" (the “I kill every plant” person), and anyone who prefers not to wait endlessly for their plant cuttings to grow.
How it works:
- You will receive a successful starter plant, a thoughtfully selected pot crafted from all-natural materials.
- You will have the option to select from healing quartz crystals, pebbles or stones, or just plain soil on top of your plant (see below for descriptions). Your plant will also come with a wooden stick to measure soil wetness and dryness as well as an eco friendly plantable seed TPP card.
- You will have the option to pick up from my home (in the enclosed "Prop Pot Greenhouse" in the driveway) or have local delivery (within 18 miles of Yarmouth, ME). Voilà!
Purple Stones: These are raw amethyst crystals. The power of amethyst is rooted in its ability to bring us comfort and ease pain. Along with its remarkable stress-relieving properties, people often use amethyst to meditate, relax, and increase their sense of comfort. With beautiful, mesmerizing deep violet hues, amethyst symbolizes healing and well-being.
Plant Care
-
Sunlight: Place in bright, indirect light, such as near an east or west window, or a south window with diffused light. Avoid direct afternoon sun, but the plant can be acclimated to it.
-
Water: Water when the top layer of soil is dry, and water more often in brighter light. Monsteras are more likely to be overwatered than underwatered.
-
Temperature: Keep the plant in a temperature range of 65–85°F (18–30°C) and avoid letting it drop below 60°F (15°C).
-
Humidity: Monsteras prefer higher humidity levels, between 40–75%, so you can use a humidifier if needed.
